At the heart of what we do are honor and respect. No tourist traps, no shopping detours — just your time, your journey, and your enjoyment.
This experience is designed for groups between 5 and 17 people, traveling together in a spacious private van. It’s a great choice for families, friends, or small groups looking for comfort, flexibility, and a better way to explore, without the crowds or rigid tour schedules.
We usually pick you up at 6:40 AM to make sure you reach Chichén Itzá before the crowds arrive and before the midday heat sets in. You’ll have the chance to wander around peacefully and take those perfect, clear photos. If you’d prefer a different start time, just let us know , remember, your day, your day, your pace.
After exploring the ruins, we head toward Valladolid. …
Depending on how hungry you are, we can either enjoy a delicious lunch first or take a refreshing dip at the cenote.
Lunch is included at Paladar de Cura, a lovely colonial-style restaurant known for its high-quality à la carte dishes. Drinks and desserts are the only extras, and they are very affordable — about $2 USD per drink, we mention the price because must of the tours that included a buffet the drinks are 10 USD each.
We end the adventure at Hacienda Chukum, a breathtaking cenote with crystal-clear turquoise waters, excellent amenities, jumping platforms, and zip lines. It’s one of the cleanest and most beautiful cenotes in the entire region.
Everything you need for the day is already included — no hidden costs, no surprises.
Choosing a private tour like this often turns out even more affordable than the tours offered by hotels. Instead of paying inflated prices due to a 50% hotel commission, our tours are priced fairly and shared among everyone in your group. The more people in your van, the less each one pays. No middlemen, no games, just honest pricing and a level of quality that goes far beyond what you typically find through hotel tours.
You set the rhythm. You create the experience. We simply help you live it.

The only things not included in this tour are drinks and desserts, but prices are fair, around 2 USD per drink.
We finish at Hacienda Chukum Cenote, with turquoise water, excellent facilities, jump platforms, and zip lines. It is one of the cleanest and most beautiful cenotes in the region.
No detours. No hidden agendas. Just a perfect day made for you.

EXCELLENT Based on 34 reviews Javier Aguiar23 September 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We booked a private tour with Private Tours Playa del Carmen, and it was truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! Our guide, Beatriz, picked up my husband and me at 6:30am in Playa del Carmen for a private tour of Chichen Itzá. Arriving right at opening time was a huge plus—it wasn’t crowded at all, and we had plenty of time to explore comfortably before the heat and big groups arrived. From the start, Beatriz was incredible—super friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. As a gay couple, we felt completely safe and comfortable with her the entire day. She shared fascinating historical and cultural insights about the Mayan people, local traditions, and food, going above and beyond in every way. After Chichen Itzá, we visited the charming Pueblo of Valladolid, where Beatriz took us to a locally owned restaurant called Paladar del Cura, right across from a beautiful old convent. The food was outstanding! My husband loved the Cochinita Pibil, and I had the Longaniza, which was rich in flavor and so tender. I also got to try a Yucatán artisanal beer, while my husband enjoyed a refreshing local drink. Beatriz kept us comfortable throughout the day with cold bottled water and even surprised us with an ice-cold beer after our tour of Chichen Itzá, which was perfect! To finish the day, she took us to Cenote Hacienda Chukum, an absolutely stunning cenote with crystal-clear blue water. Life vests were provided, and swimming alongside small fish made it such a magical experience. We returned to our hotel with plenty of time to relax by the pool in the afternoon—so much better than the big group tours that get back late in the evening. Overall, we give Beatriz and Private Tours Playa del Carmen a solid five stars. The tour was worth every penny for the personalized service, comfort, and unforgettable experiences. If you’re considering booking, don’t hesitate—you’ll be glad you did! Derek Hansford7 September 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Beatriz was an absolutely amazing guide. Friendly conversation on the ride to Chichen Itza. Once there she took care of everything making sure we were where we needed to be. This wasn't just a "here it is tour". She went into details of the who, why, what, & when. She knows the spots and angles too take the Instagram worthy pictures. Lunch in Valladolid was delicious. Also took some really cool pictures there as well. Cenote was nice and refreshing. Everything was safe and secure. Do not hesitate to use her or this company. 10 out of 10 would recommend to friends and family. Thanks for the once in a lifetime experience. Christine Le29 August 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Keshi was a wonderful guide. He constantly communicated with us from the point of booking through the end of the tour. The day started off great with Keshi being very timely and even making sure he was able to pick us up in front of the hotel since my dad was elderly. He had drinks prepared for us and made sure to emphasize that this day was about us and how we wanted it to go. When we got to Chichen Itza he dropped us off in front with our tour guide and then met up with us after parking. He even went back to get us water before we started our tour. After the Chichen Itza tour he had beers waiting for us. We requested to do lunch before going to the Cenote and he kindly obliged. He took us to a local restaurant that was absolutely delicious. After lunch we went to the Cenote and even there he made sure we got the best experience talking us through everything and even showing us how to get the best experience on the zip line. Despite the rain storm that started towards the end of our Cenote experience Keshi was so helpful and even pulled up the car and helped my dad get to the van. Overall, thanks to Keshi we had the best day and he was kind and funny throughout the trip. He also was a good driver and made sure we got back safely. Thanks Keshi for the great experience! daniel le28 August 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Keshi did a great job taking care of us from start to finish. He had our tour for chichen itza set up with an amazing guide, Mayan lunch spread, with finishing touches at the chenote making sure we were alright. At the very end of our day it did thunderstorm hard but keshi made sure to drive safe and take us all back to Cancun safely. Would definitely book again and highly recommend. ivy bui27 August 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent tour guide. Highly recommended.
